Pilgrimage of Prayer with the Women Saints of Rome
Invitation Only
Our pilgrim path leads us through the heart of Rome, walking in the footsteps of the early women saints who shaped the Church through their faith, sacrifice, and devotion. Over the course of our journey, we will visit Rome’s great basilicas, venerate the relics of holy women, and reflect on their lives of witness.
We begin our pilgrimage by attending Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica and entrusting our journey to the Blessed Mother at the Altar of the Column, Mater Ecclesiae. In the days that follow, we will experience the Papal Audience, explore the sacred traditions of the Church, and visit the historic churches and relics of women saints, including Saint Catherine of Siena at Santa Maria Sopra Minerva and Saint Bridget of Sweden at her former home in Campo de’ Fiori.
Our pilgrim path will also take us to the Catacombs of Priscilla, where ancient frescos depict the role of women in early Christianity, and to the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, where we will walk through another set of Holy Doors and visit the site of St. Paul’s martyrdom at the Three Fountains. We will climb the Holy Stairs (Scala Sancta) and venerate the relics of Christ’s Passion, brought to Rome by Saint Helena, mother of Emperor Constantine.
Along the way, we will take time for prayer, reflection, and discussion, opening our hearts to what the Lord is asking of us in such a time as this. Our journey will not only be a time of spiritual renewal but also one of fellowship, as we come together for meaningful conversations, shared meals, and even a special evening of Italian cooking in a private home.
As our time in Rome comes to an end, we will attend Mass at Divine Mercy Church, join the Angelus in St. Peter’s Square, and gather one final time for reflection. Our pilgrimage will conclude with a farewell dinner in Trastevere, where we will celebrate the grace-filled experiences of our time together.
On our final morning, we bid a heartfelt goodbye to our fellow Women of Faith, carrying the blessings of this journey with us as we return home, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live our mission.
A few of the remarkable experiences included in this unrepeatable pilgrimage and retreat:

- Visit many holy sites, including the Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, the Holy Stairs (Scala Sancta), and the Catacombs of Priscilla, which contain ancient frescos depicting women in early Christianity.
- Enjoy retreat time in a private gathering space, offering moments of prayer, reflection, and fellowship.
- Experience a private Italian cooking class dinner, celebrating faith, friendship, and tradition in an intimate setting.
- Invitation-only and limited to 22 Women, ensuring a deeply personal and spiritually enriching experience.
